Our custom roller, solar, cellular, Roman, and sheer shades can all run on a Somfy motor. They raise and lower quietly at the touch of a button, and there are no cords hanging at the window.

Somfy Motorization FAQ
Do I need a smart home system to use motorized shades?
No. A Somfy remote or wall switch works on its own. If you want app control, schedules, or voice control later, we can add the TaHoma® switch at any time.
Will my shades still work if the Wi-Fi goes down?
Yes. Remotes and wall switches talk directly to the motor, so local control keeps working. App and voice control need your home internet connection.
Can you motorize drapery as well as shades?
Yes. We build custom drapery on Somfy motorized tracks, and we motorize roller, solar, cellular, Roman, and sheer shades as well as blinds.
How do you decide which motor to use?
It comes down to the size and weight of the window treatment and how you want to power it. Your designer works that out during the consultation and measuring, so every shade and drape moves smoothly.
Does it work with Alexa and Google?
Yes. Through the TaHoma® by Somfy app, your shades work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. They also integrate with systems like Control4, Savant, and Crestron.
What's covered under warranty?
